We process information only as needed to provide partner linking, speech transcription, AI-assisted story creation, image storage, and optional location sharing.
This includes your email and sign-in status, partner relationship and anniversary date, voice recordings and text you submit, selfies and scene photos, story collections, and location points created only after you enable route sharing.
Voice is sent for transcription, text is processed for story analysis, and images may be screened for safety before storage or generation. Service providers may include Doubao, DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud OSS, and Tencent Cloud content-safety services. We require providers acting on our instructions to protect data to a standard no less protective than this policy.
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet security or legal obligations. In the app, go to Me → Account & Privacy → Delete Account to permanently delete your account and associated stories, recordings, selfies, scenes, and route data. You can also withdraw consent by disabling selfie use or route sharing.
Location sharing is off by default. If enabled, only your linked partner can view that day's route. You can turn it off at any time, after which no new locations are collected.
We use access controls, short-lived signed links, HTTPS, content-safety screening, and server-side secret isolation. Never share your sign-in verification code.
